Description
First aid instructors play a central role in the training and continuing education of first aiders. They teach life-saving emergency measures in a practical, understandable, and target-group-appropriate manner – in companies, educational institutions, public institutions, or in private settings. Through in-depth specialist knowledge, didactic competence, and pedagogical skills, they make a significant contribution to ensuring that first aiders are confident in their actions in emergency situations. First aid instructor training: The practice-oriented, modular first aid instructor training specifically prepares students for this responsible role and includes Modules 1 and 2. Module 1 provides basic knowledge of methodology and didactics, with a high degree of self-study. It forms the prerequisite for participation in Module 2 and provides the technical and didactic foundation for independently conducting first aid courses.
Zielgruppe
The training is aimed at individuals who enjoy independent teaching and would like to qualify as first aid instructors, taking into account the prerequisites. Module 1 also offers a solid opportunity to specifically develop methodological and didactic skills – even independent of future teaching careers.
Requirement
The following requirements are necessary for admission to the first aid instructor training program: - Minimum age: 18 years - Good written and spoken German skills - Completed paramedic training (at least 48 teaching units) or a higher medical qualification
Time & Place
Module 1 comprises 24 teaching units of 45 minutes each and is delivered over three days at Pulskurs's training facilities. The content is taught in a practical and application-oriented manner, supplemented by accompanying self-study phases for independent in-depth study of the topics. Alternatively, the module can also be delivered as an in-house training session directly on-site—for example, at a facility or institution.
Cost
The participation fee for Module 1 is €390 per person. This includes training materials and participation in all teaching units. A customized quote for in-house training can be provided upon request.
recognition
Upon successful completion of Module 1, a certificate will be issued, which serves as proof of the prerequisite for participation in Module 2, as Module 1 forms the content basis for Module 2. Pulskurs is recognized as a multiplier center under the reference number 8.1552 in accordance with DGUV Principle 304-003 and is officially authorized to train instructors in first aid.
